After a tough year we decided 2021 needed to start with with something beautiful and fun, so of course we needed to have, not one, but two styled shoots at The San Francisco Mint! In my circle we joke about the two opposite styles I have and for the this look we needed to fully represent one of those – the light, girly, and almost airy vibe. Blue and velvet are two of my favorite things, so we started there and the rest just came together! It was also important to us to be true to the fact that micro-weddings will probably continue to be on trend, even as the pandemic lifts, as they have some definite upsides (though we do love a big party too, there are absolutely pros and cons to both!).
The San Francisco Mint is an absolutely stunning historic venue with so many different spaces to fit whatever you need. From the vaults to the columns, it’s seriously perfection for weddings and events of all sizes (they’re also doing special micro-weddings packages right now so check it out!). We had the first look in the courtyard, ceremony in the Coiner’s Office, reception in the Column Ballroom, and some of the most beautiful pictures throughout the space.
Our beautiful couple, Chrystle and Charles, were so much fun to work with, and let’s be honest, completely adorable! Chrystle wore the perfect Essense of Australia dress and an amazing hair piece and earrings from J’aime Bridal. Lisa Teller Beauty and Jennifer Hatcher Hair (who I’m lucky enough to see for my own hair!) teamed up to create a stunning updo and natural look to highlight the gorgeous bride and dress! Charles wore a grey suit from The Black Tux, an online based store that was so incredibly easy to work with and had a great selection!
With the help of Pleasanton Rentals, Abbey Party Rents, Floral Luxe, Glass Slipper Gourmet and Pirouette Paper, all of the set up details came together perfectly. From the ceremony asymmetrical arch to the hanging centerpiece over the tables, Floral Luxe went above and beyond! Weddings by Scott and Dana and the production team from Non Plus Ultra Events captured some of the most beautiful images and video for us to share!
Thank you so much to the incredible team that put this all together!
