Moody & Edgy at The San Francisco Mint

SFMint-171.jpg

If you’ve already seen the “Light & Airy” photo shoot at the San Francisco Mint, you’ll know that this is my second style we needed to embrace! We wanted to remind all of my alt, edgy, general lovers of the color black friends that black is absolutely a wedding color and it can be glam. I was definitely that girl with the purple hair and obscene amount of black eyeliner growing up, so it makes sense to bring it back but make it epic!

Floral Luxe literally made my dreams come true with our “Drunk in Love” champagne wall and custom pergola in the courtyard. Even keeping to a smaller guest count of 50, we knew we wanted some wow factors, and they were impressive!

Our stunning couple also needed an edgy look and with the help of our amazing glam squad, Lisa Teller and Jennifer Hatcher, a mesh body suit and The Groomsman Suit, and an epic feathered Calla Blanche dress, they couldn’t have looked more perfect!

Our tablescapes were once again from Pleasanton Rentals, but this time we had the gorgeous agate place “cards” from Dearly Beeloved to add a fun touch, and chairs from Abbey Rentals.

The icing on the cake (pun totally intended) was the insane cake from Glass Slipper Gourmet. No one does an over the top black wedding cake like Kelly!

Thank you again to my incredible vendors for pulling this one off! I love you all dearly!

And now I am so excited to share some of the most incredible pictures from Jackie Rangle!
