E + N’s May wedding in Healdsburg was the definition of timeless elegance with a relaxed California ease. Set against the lush backdrop of the Madrona, the day blended refined details with joyful energy -effortless, thoughtful, and full of celebration from start to finish.
The Madrona is one of those places that feels special the moment you arrive. Tucked into the hills just outside of Healdsburg, the historic property is known for its gardens, olive groves, and old-world charm – but what truly sets it apart is its eclectic, collected interior design. Each room feels layered and intentional, mixing bold patterns, rich textures, vintage pieces, and unexpected details. It’s stylish without feeling precious, and it brings so much personality to every part of the celebration, especially as the party moves indoors.
The day began with a ceremony at Saint Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church in Petaluma. Classic and meaningful, the ceremony set a reverent, joyful tone before guests were shuttled back to the Madrona for cocktail hour and the celebration that followed.
The style of the day leaned into classic California elegance with subtle East Coast influence. The gents wore traditional morning coats, while the bridesmaids’ mismatched dresses added softness and movement. The bride was timeless in classic white, anchoring the entire look with understated sophistication.
A palette of whites, blues, and soft touches of yellow carried through the design, beautifully complementing both the gardens and the Madrona’s richly layered interiors. TW Floral Design brought the vision to life with lush, seasonal florals that felt fresh, refined, and perfectly at home in the space.
As the sun set, the party officially began. Mercy and the Heartbeats brought incredible energy to the evening, filling the dance floor and setting the tone for a night of celebration. When the festivities moved inside, the Madrona’s moody, eclectic rooms became the perfect backdrop for the afterparty – starting with a joyful cake cutting, espresso martinis flowing, and DJ Nick Sinclair keeping the energy high well into the night.
E + N’s wedding day was a seamless blend of tradition, style, and fun – a classic celebration elevated by a truly one-of-a-kind setting in the heart of Healdsburg.
