“Make it yours!” If you’re one of my couples, you’ve heard me say this at least once. L+A had no problem making the wedding their own while letting all of the vendors add their own touch. I’ll never get over watching the bride and groom play soccer in their full wedding attire surrounded by their favorite people! From seed paper save the dates, individually hand made place cards with color coded pressed flowers, mini soccer goals on the lawn, an epic band, incredible florals, and every item as green as possible (let’s be honest, this will always be hard with weddings, but we avoided waste everywhere we could!) this was definitely their wedding!

In addition to all the details, they followed their hearts and only did the traditions that mattered to them. We had a few special touches at the ceremony, lovely toasts, an adorable cake cutting (one of my favorite moments from the night was the groom asking for a photo of why L would never be allowed to cut the cake again with so much joy on their faces!), but nothing else that screams tradition. Jodee is an incredible photographer though and you would never know they didn’t have a formal first dance or parent dances!
